Since 1932, we’ve been building boots in a traditional stitchdown method which layers in the necessary levels of comfort to create a footwear package that is comfortable right out of the box and offers an ideal fit without adjustments or additions.
Some of our traditional boot styles built on our 650 last, such as the Acadia, Mt. Light, Danner Light, Sierra, Rain Forest and Grouse, are built without the needed addition of a cushioned insole. We do offer an Airthotic heel cup that allows the heel to stay seated in the back of the boot and offers additional arch support. If you feel like you really need something more you can use a thin cushioned insole, preferably one that is trim-to-fit.
